We at the ENHC would like to wish all the Mother’s, Grandmother’s, Aunts, sisters, Nieces, Adopted Mother’s a very Happy Mother’s Day!!
On Sunday, May 9 we will be celebrating and acknowledging all the Life-givers, those we call Mom, on their special day!
I would like to share a poem I had written for my Mother to acknowledge what she means to me.
For You, My Mother
You are my Friend
You were there to hear my problems, share my joy
You had taken time; you let me be first
I can count on you, I can trust you
You are my friend
You are my Mentor
You have shown me strength, you empowered me
You took the time; you showed me how I can be first
I can rely on you, I can trust you
You are my Mentor
You are my Elder
You instilled Balance in me, you guided me
You gave the time; you taught me life is first
I Believe in you, I trust you
You are my Elder
You are my Mother
You showed me Love, Unconditionally
You always had time; you put me first
I love you always, I trust you always
YOU ARE MY MOTHER
AND I AM TRULY BLESSED
