Our beloved ladies have completed another session of the Butterfly Moon Project on March 24, 2014. It was 8 sessions of information, history, and culture shared by the Cardinal family. as usual they provided delicious bannock and tea at every session, as well as a stew and bannock feast to close the final session. It was a great learning experience had by all.
Our recent Butterfly Moon Project has been nominated to recive a Human Rights Award, an annual award given from the John Humphrey Centre for peace and human rights to reconize the contributions of organizations and individuals in our community who are working to build a stonger and better community for all. If you do so happen to see Colleen Cardinal, Toni Cardinal, or Eric Margaret Cardinal congradulate them and the people who have helped them achieve this nomination!
We have exciting news for you folk, our upstairs gym space is being renovated! So all of those who have memberships will be enjoying the new gym before the end of christmas!! We our very excited for the Centre and couldn’t be more thankful that we had been granted these renos. Stay tuned for more news, information and programs. 🙂

We are currently accepting applications for our kids culture camp. You can print off the application or come on down and pick up one. As well we are looking for volunteers. We are excited to be offering traditional dancing & singing, sleeping in tipis, various sports & games, learning about Creator & his son Jesus, Tradional crafts & customs, horseback riding & swimming, listening to story telling around the camp fire as well as being apart of a clan during the week your with us! Cost is $195. For youth from 8-12 years of age. The camp will be held at Pioneer Lodge, Sundre

We are starting up our ARBP once again. It is for youth from 9-14 years of age. We provide Bikes and Helmets. It starts on June 3, 2013 – June 27, 2013 from 3:30-5:30pm and July 2, 2013-Aug 8, 2013 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Program runs during the week from Monday – Thursdays

Our goal is to combine lessons in personal achievement and
environmental awareness through the development of practical skills and simple
act of having fun.
Sandwiches served on Mondays at 11:30 am. Thanks to Inglewood Christian reformed church volunteers for making them for us.
Soup&Bannock is served at noon on wednesdays.
Our Kohkom’s circle is starting on mondays from 2-4pm, crafts, cultural teachings and seniors fitness are just some of the activities. Grandmothers welcome to attend.
